XQ's Patrick Hermans is an American Cue Maker living since long in the Philippines, as few top others do, the stellar profile of the Filipino’s pool world must be sure of some inspiration. XQ is a joint project between Pat and XPool, a kind of hunt for the Holy Graal in cues’ performance and style. We realized it was not available on the market a cue (Custom obviously) made with all the best technical components, stylish look and accessible for a price within reason, we then decided to make one.
Real Ivory Joint, G-10 3/8-10 pin, Real Ivory Ferrule and a choice of specialty high performance shafts, all complemented by very classy simple design butts made of the best woods available. We choose as banner for this cues “Aiming To Perfection”, may be perfection does not exist, anyway since we started the project the worst reaction we got by players who tried the first prototypes has been a “WOW!” . It is not a cue for the fans of the stiff feeling, but all the others will get quickly to love it after the first few racks.
